Upton girl Kate Upton strikes a pose.

The sexiest Kate Upton movie scene you never saw

Your jaws will hit the floor.

Kate Upton celebrates her 24th birthday today, and amid all the birthday cake and presents it’s worth highlighting one of her lost movie scenes that ended up on the cutting room floor.

Back in 2012 Upton starred in the Farrelly brothers’ remake of The Three Stooges as Sister Bernice.

The Sports Illustrated model might not seem the obvious choice to play a nun (to be fair, the film also had Larry David as Sister Mary-Mengele), and the casting managed to provoke some serious anger from the Catholic League.

Specifically, a scene in which Upton donned a “nunkini” and emerged from a swimming pool to the shock of the Stooges.

“I guess it’s okay for kids killing kids, but you can’t show a woman in a bathing suit?”

The Catholic League, led by their president Bill Donohue, got so irate that the Farrellys ended up having to remove the moment from their final cut.

“In the 1950s, Hollywood generally avoided crude fare and was respectful of religion. Today it specializes in crudity and trashes Christianity, especially Catholicism,” Donohue said.

“As for Upton, it’s not so much her character’s name – Sister Bernice – as it is her attire. During one scene, the Sports Illustrated swimsuit model dons a very revealing bikini along with a large rosary around her neck.”

At the time Peter Farrelly couldn’t believe it, telling ESPN: “Can you believe that? I guess it’s okay for kids killing kids, but you can’t show a woman in a bathing suit? It looked pretty harmless to me. She was just jiggling around.”

Before you weep into your Upton 2016 calendar, there is light at the end of the tunnel. Kate’s big nun scene was featured in an early version of the trailer. Naturally, it’s been preserved for all eternity on YouTube.

Here’s what we’re talking about in all its glory. Happy birthday, Kate!
